Are you a parent, a school, or a youth club/organisation that provides support for young people in the fourth year of Secondary school (Transition Year)?

At Mind and Emotional Nurturing, we offer a comprehensive programme that focuses on the following:

  • Addressing Mental Health Challenges

  • Enhancing Academic Performance

  • Developing Social and Relationship Skills

  • Promoting Emotional Resilience and Wellbeing

  • Preparation for the Future

We aim to align our programmes with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) guidelines, focusing on Social, Personal, and Health Education (SPHE).

The NCCA's curriculum guidelines stress the importance of holistic education, including mental and emotional wellbeing. The curriculum emphasises:

  1. Education for Maturity: Personal development, social awareness, and competence.

  2. Skill Development: General, technical, and academic skills with interdisciplinary and self-directed learning.

  3. Life Experience: Education through the experience of adult and working life.

The Basic Essentially Charged Program

Our beyond basics programme is a 3 to15 week curriculum designed to meet National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) guidelines. It emphasises self-directed learning and the practical application of skills. It is a comprehensive programme bringing together life, academic, and work skills essential to wellbeing and offering one-to-one and group teaching that focuses on Personal and Emotional Development of Transition Year Students.
