About the event
Engage Actively is the third workshop in The G.R.E.A.T. Community Workshop Mini Series, developed by Mind Emotional Nurturing (MINDEMN CLG).
This session is designed for educators, youth workers, and community professionals, offering practical tools to reduce stress-inducing and performance-interfering thoughts for you and the young people you work with.
Grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL), the workshop supports participants to:
Apply the Cognitive Triangle Model to reflect on thinking patterns (CTM)
Catch, reframe (My brain S.A.I.D. ), and performance-interfering thoughts (P.I.Ts)
Use compassion-based coaching questions to cultivate calm, balanced responses under pressure
