Service Description

This dynamic, evidence-based 2-day training equips educators, including teachers, youth workers, community educators, and professionals working in informal learning spaces with Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. It introduces them to the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC). Designed for teachers, school staff, and youth practitioners, The GREAT SCREAM – The Facilitator course empowers participants to: Become coaching-informed educators who can guide students through emotional challenges with confidence and compassion. Use practical tools to support student self-awareness, emotional regulation, and goal-setting Facilitate robust, safe classroom discussions that nurture independent thinking, empathy, and resilience. Create mentally safe, emotionally intelligent learning environments that promote student engagement and well-being. This training aligns with national priorities on mental health and early intervention in schools, offering a practical framework that supports both educator confidence and student success.
